Meet Mr. Moore

Christopher D. Moore is a multi-hyphenate artist, screenwriter, and producer whose work lives at the intersection of story, culture, and community. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, he found his voice through poetry and hip-hop before developing a passion for long-form storytelling at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Television Producing. Since relocating to Los Angeles in 2015, Chris has evolved into not only a creator, but a mentor and educator committed to helping others find their voice.

He began his career working entry-level production roles on sets at Universal Studios and Turner Studios, gaining a firsthand understanding of how stories are built from the ground up. He later spent over seven years as a Content Producer at The Artistic Standard, where he developed both scripted and unscripted content and secured an option agreement for his pilot “TRAVIS” with Leah Daniels-Butler and 1OneNinety5.

Through his company, Moore Scripts, and his mentorship with the Community Writers Group of Los Angeles, Chris empowers emerging writers to tell stories that preserve identity and truth. His social impact projects, “Black Love Is Dead” and “The Doll Test 2.0”, confront difficult conversations around love, race, and perception through raw, unscripted public dialogue. Currently, he is in pre-production on his thriller “Watered Down”, supported by SMP Rise. Chris is building more than stories—he’s creating space for others to be seen, heard, and remembered.
